Looking back on my three years at Kognitiv, it's amazing to see how much has changed, both professionally and personally. I joined the company as a consultant, ready to learn, contribute, and make an impact. Fast forward to today, and I'm leading a team—something I never could have imagined back when I first started.
My journey here has been filled with milestones that I’m incredibly proud of. One of the biggest shifts came when I was promoted to Associate Manager, which paved the way for my current leadership role. These weren’t just lucky breaks; they were the result of hard work, dedication, and the amazing opportunities that Kognitiv has provided. The support I’ve received along the way—whether from mentors, colleagues, or managers—has been instrumental in my growth.
What makes this story even more meaningful to me is that, during this time, I also became a mom. There’s a common misconception that having children somehow slows down your career, but for me, the opposite has been true. Motherhood has actually fueled my ambition and given me a deeper sense of purpose. I’ve felt more driven, more focused, and more determined to excel in both my career and my role as a parent.
Balancing work and motherhood hasn’t been without its challenges, but I’m incredibly fortunate to be part of a company that understands the importance of flexibility. Kognitiv’s remote work options have been a game-changer for me. When my daughter was born, I was able to take the time I needed without worrying about my career trajectory. And when I returned, I was met with open arms, understanding, and a renewed sense of purpose. My team and managers were not just supportive—they encouraged me to take on new challenges and continue growing as both a leader and a professional.
This balance between work and family has allowed me to thrive. I’ve always been determined to prove that women can excel in their careers while being present and loving mothers. Kognitiv’s culture of work-life balance has been essential in helping me achieve that goal. It's not just about flexibility; it’s about the genuine support for working parents, which has allowed me to maintain my career momentum without sacrificing time with my family.
For anyone out there wondering if it’s possible to have it all, my experience at Kognitiv is proof that you can. Having a family doesn’t have to be a barrier to professional growth. In fact, for me, it’s been a source of strength, resilience, and inspiration. Being a mom has made me a better leader, and working at a company that values growth, flexibility, and family has empowered me to achieve my full potential.
Looking back, I’m so proud of everything I’ve accomplished, both as a professional and as a parent. This journey has been filled with unexpected challenges, rewarding successes, and invaluable life lessons. And while I know there’s still so much more to learn and experience, I’m excited for the future. I can’t wait to continue growing as a leader at Kognitiv, as a mom, and as someone who’s passionate about breaking down the myths around work-life balance and motherhood. The best part? The journey is just beginning!
