Workday Integrations Senior Consultant

Workday Integrations Senior Consultants possess a broad understanding of cross functional touchpoints and their impacts within the Workday system to effectively develop solutions to complex problems/projects across multiple modules and clients. Senior Consultants partner with clients to understand strategic objectives related to HR/Finance technology including employee experience, business processes, data strategy, and service delivery. They drive high client satisfaction through these partnerships, building relationships with clients and delivering impeccable customer service.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a subject matter expert in a variety of strategic, high-impact projects from strategic planning through stabilization with no supervision.
- Provide subject matter expertise regarding key process decisions related to industry and areas of expertise.
- Lead multiple concurrent large, complex Workday solutions and projects for a global customer base. Design, build, test, and implement business requirements across multiple areas of Workday Integrations.
- Manage the project scope, quality, timeline, communication, and overall delivery. Provide oversight, guidance, instruction, learning opportunities, and coaching to team members.
- Conduct working sessions with clients and vendors to gather, understand, and analyze business requirements. Assess actual client needs and propose recommendations and⁄or alternative solutions to meet client goals. Advise clients on best practices, recognize, and recommend process improvements, and implement system enhancements.
- Consult to touch points, dependencies, and integration aspects across multiple area(s) of Workday to provide a comprehensive solution to clients.
- Understand different country regulatory and statutory requirements and how these can be met with Workday.
- Lead portions of client sales meetings as a Subject Matter Expert; scope potential projects for area(s) of expertise.
- Work across internal teams and clients to identify and resolve all issues that may impact project scope and⁄or Go Live; ensure alignment across project plans and allocated budgets.
- Frequently discuss and articulate lessons learned from previous experience, Workday best practices, and Kognitiv's Point of View.
- Strive to innovate and suggest new approaches to deploy Workday efficiently and effectively.
- Contribute to the organization's knowledge management repository through formal and informal avenues (ex: Q&A, documented deliverables, facilitation of Workday knowledge sharing sessions, regularly posting best practices, etc).
- Act as a mentor and coach for less experienced team members.
- Meet key performance indicators set for this role (ex: utilization target, service level agreements, customer satisfaction scores, etc).
- Work in a fast-paced environment that requires tasks to be completed quickly and accurately.

Qualifications
- 6+ years' experience as a Workday Integrations consultant leading and deploying Workday implementations or supporting Workday Post-Production / AMS Services.
- Must be very strong in in Workday Studio and able to solve complex integrations
- Deep knowledge of Workday's technology stack and complementary 3rd party/external systems in at least two areas of HR or Finance.
- Ability to lead workstream(s) on large scale projects (acquisition, phase X, etc) for the full project lifecycle – from initial scoping/planning, discovery, design, testing, and go live.
- Broad business and technology understanding and a deep awareness of industry trends in Enterprise Resource Planning, Human Resources, Finance, and⁄or Payroll.
- Proven ability to influence a wide variety of audiences, including clients, employees, and executive management.
- Demonstrated commitment and achievement to delivery excellence and client satisfaction; strong client focus with the ability to understand client needs and build relationships.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and colleagues in a remote working environment.
- Ability to prioritize and organize work to ensure overall timeliness and quality standards with little supervision. Ability to effectively manage against timelines, deadlines, and goals.
- Experience managing global teams, whether in a people management or program/project management capacity.
- Proven ability to see around corners and understand both the big picture and individual needs.
- Understanding of scope and details of a project plan. Possess the ability to identify and communicate risks, issues, performance concerns, the need for resources, etc to internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience implementing complex, practical business solutions under competing deadlines and priorities while keeping a high attention to detail.
- Ability to be effectively and actively leading multiple, concurrent projects. Demonstrated ability to prioritize conflicting demands with little supervision.
- Willingness and ability to mentor, coach and direct other consultants.
- Able to come up with improvements in tools and⁄or processes to help the practice.
- Understanding the importance of client satisfaction and can apply it in the process of servicing the client. Communicates client feedback to senior team members. Understands and follows internal processes in responding to client needs.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to adapt to frequent change.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required.
- Ability to meet travel requirements (<5% a year).
Estimated Pay Range (USA only):
$107,000.00 - $150,200.00
