  • Build strong relationships with local sales teams to generate referrals and co-selling opportunities, and represent the organization at regional events (willingness to travel 15–20% annually).
  • Lead sales presentations, negotiations, and the contract process, closing new business while aligning with client needs and organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Alliances, Solutions, and Delivery) as well as external partners and clients to strategically move deals forward, leveraging the right resources at the right time.

  • Build and nurture formal networks and relationships with key decision-makers, including senior leadership (e.g., VP and C-suite), to strengthen the sales pipeline.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment, completing tasks quickly and accurately while adapting to shifting priorities.
  • Embody the organization’s core value of taking ownership in all aspects of your work, promoting accountability and initiative.
Requirements
  • Proven success in sales within assigned region(s), with the ability to navigate long sales cycles, complex stakeholder environments, and region-specific market dynamics.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in business development in SaaS or cloud-based ERP ecosystems, ideally within HR, finance, or related services.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a volume-based sales quota and handle multiple opportunities across various buying stages.
  • Proficiency in German and English, both written and spoken, is required.
  • Strong ability to influence a wide range of audiences and stakeholders at all organizational levels, from team members to senior executives.
  • Experience with consultative and transformational selling, including leading contract negotiations.
  • Familiarity with conceptual and strategic sales methodologies (e.g., Miller Heiman) is a plus.
  • Ability to drive process improvements within the sales organization.
  • Proven ability to work as a self-starter in a remote-first, entrepreneurial environment—operating independently while maintaining strong ties with a global team.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills—both verbal and written—with the ability to engage diverse clients and colleagues effectively in a remote setting.
  • Adaptability to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment with frequent change, while maintaining high performance and alignment with team goals.
