Workday Payroll Managers/Team Leads create strategic, meaningful relationships with clients and serve as advocates and advisors on clients' Workday journeys. Managers/Team Leads directly drive business results through focusing on client satisfaction and retention and ensuring consultants deliver with excellence on all engagements. Managers/Team Leads possess a broad understanding of cross functional touchpoints and their impacts within the Workday system to effectively develop solutions to complex problems/projects across multiple modules and clients. This role also directly manages a remote, global team of consultants and is responsible for ensuring timely execution of ongoing client deliverables.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of client accounts across various industries and levels of enterprise.
  • Scope, estimate, and plan deliverables and timelines for clients' projects. Drive successful delivery of projects in partnership with consultants and⁄or project managers.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in a variety of strategic and high-impact projects, guiding clients through strategic planning, implementation, and stabilization with no supervision. Provide subject matter expertise regarding key process decisions related to industry and areas of expertise.
  • Measure, support, and address client satisfaction; ensure escalations are addressed and mitigated in a timely manner. Ensure proper communication with leadership on all escalations.
  • Achieve/exceed annual client satisfaction targets and other defined Key Performance Indicators.
  • Assist in sales engagements for prospects, including demos, scoping projects, estimating level of effort, advising on timeline, product solutioning, and showcasing Kognitiv as a top partner in the ecosystem.
  • Directly manage a global, remote team of consultants. Successfully execute management responsibilities including, but not limited to, resource management, goal setting, performance expectations, evaluating performance, coaching and feedback, training and development, engagement and retention, career progression, and hiring.
  • Develop new tools and methodologies to streamline project delivery and internal operations.
  • Meet key performance indicators set for this role (ex: utilization target, service level agreements, customer satisfaction scores, etc).
  • Work in a fast-paced environment that requires tasks to be completed quickly and accurately.

Qualifications

  • Workday Payroll Certified with 6+ years' experience as a consultant leading and deploying Workday Payroll implementations or supporting Workday Post-Production / AMS Services.
  • Deep knowledge of Data Analysis, Security, Reporting, Workday Payroll Modules (Pay Component Configuration, Taxes, Accounting, Payroll Reporting, FLSA, Flat Sum Bonus, Retro, Payroll Business Processes, EIBs & Data Conversion).
  • Broad business and technology understanding and a deep awareness of industry trends in either Human Resource Management, Financials or Enterprise Resource Planning or Payroll.
  • Experience leading multiple, concurrent projects across the full project lifecycle from initial scoping to Go-Live. Strong understanding of project management methodologies, change management principles, tools, and best practices.
  • Ability to work independently, navigate ambiguity, prioritize conflicting demands, multi-task effectively and thrive in a fast-paced, high growth environment with no supervision.
  • Experience in issue resolution and escalation management.
  • Proven ability to see around corners thinking about both the big picture and individual needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Must possess the ability to communicate clearly and effectively, as well as build strong relationships across distributed teams, clients, and time zones.
  • Ability to effectively interact and influence individuals across all levels of internal and external organizations (individual contributor to C-Suite).
  • Ability to manage, develop, coach, and mentor global teams in a remote working environment.
  • Able to come up with improvements in tools and⁄or processes to help the practice.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required.
  • Ability to meet travel requirements (<5% a year).

Estimated Pay Range:

USA Pay Range: $133,000 USD - $189,924 USD
