The most rewarding project I've been on has been the one I'm still on today. It started last summer and will go through this July.
I'm the Project Manager, but I'm also able to lend a hand because of my vast experience in numerous areas of Workday. With my knowledge base, I'm able to answer questions during meetings that other consultants can't, or share advice.
Furthermore, I've learned a lot about managing people and personalities. It really showed me what I'm good at, what I like doing, and what I definitely don't want to do long-term. In fact, through this project, I realized that I didn't want to be a PM forever!
Although the project has been a lot of work and has its difficult days, I've learned so much about project, time and, people management that it won't go to waste in my future endeavors.
