The work environment is the best I've experienced in my professional career. Everyone is very welcoming right from day one, you really feel as though you are filling an internal gap. We are very much an employee-centric organization, and we truly believe that happy employees = happy clients. We have a great work-life balance, and plenty of opportunities to advance your career. We have amazing leaders who are experts in what they do, but also empathize and support you in the most difficult of tasks. Kogs work environment is truly unmatched.

Great question! A good work environment is vital to the success of a company and the happiness of its employees, which our leadership understands very well. On a daily basis, I see tremendous amounts of support between others (help with troubleshooting, knowledge transfers, etc), but also a sense of independence that allows you to structure your day in a way that works for you. Second, we all share a similar mindset - we love problem-solving. This creates a fun and challenging environment that is great to be a part of. Last, work-life balance is heavily stressed. I was once told by leadership "we do not live to work; we work so that we can live". To accomplish sustainable long-term growth as a consultant and a company, PTO is essential so that you can go enjoy life and NOT become burnt out. Hope this helps!

My favorite thing about the culture here at Kog is we're encouraged to be ourselves which extends to our work environment, as the majority of us work from our homes. I'm currently working in my dedicated home office surrounded by my personal library and various collections. It's my favorite room in my house and that lends itself to me enjoying my work so much. Some Koggers work from their porches and backyards in good weather; some work in their living rooms; each person works in the best place and the best way for them. Since we work from home we have a virtual work environment that includes encouragement and support from management, Kogmates, mentors, and product leads.
