Thank you for taking your time to answer these questions. I am looking at a position that says "workday certified?"

Shaylen S. asked a question to Shaundar B.

How do I become workday day certified before applying? So I am ready for this position. Sorry for the lengthy question, Shaylen S.

Thanks for the question! Usually, when you see "workday certified" listed on a job description, it is referring to the process of taking a certification course and passing the exam delivered by Workday. Workday provides several different training courses to their customers. You typically can view the Learning Catalog via the Workday Resource Center, and users often enroll there and their enrollments must be approved by the Learning Administrator for your organization (assuming your organization is a Workday customer). The trainings vary in delivery, duration, and cost, as they can be in-person at Workday headquarters or delivered remotely, and users typically choose to take a Fundamentals course in a functional area (like Recruiting Fundamentals) as their first step towards a certification, like Workday Certified HCM Pro, or Workday Certified Reporting Pro.

Some companies require certification for certain roles, and others do not. Many of our roles at Kognitiv do not require certification. Hope this helps, and good luck to you on your certification journey!
