    Hello!

Thanks for reaching out! Transitioning into a Workday career is an achievable goal and having functional area experience will help you as you learn the system. There are a number of avenues to get you into the Workday ecosystem and one of my favorites is our training program here at Kognitiv! Our annual Early Careers program has welcomed people from all career backgrounds that have wanted to make the transition into Workday consulting. For more information please checkout the Early Careers page and register for the next cohort!

I would also recommend researching companies that are currently using Workday and/or actively implementing the system. Both would have internal support teams with a range of roles that would own operating the system. That is how I was introduced to Workday, at my previous company through internal mobility I joined our Talent Tech team as we were implementing the system.

Be sure to checkout our discussion board, as you are not alone in seeking this information.

    All the best,

    Liz

    Hi there,

Thank you for reaching out! As Liz mentioned, we do have our Early Careers program in which we bring people in who are passionate about Workday, and who want to become a Workday consultant. We do provide opportunities in Workday Adaptive Planning, which would complement your FP&A background! We should be opening opportunities in this area in winter/spring 2026. Please go ahead and visit our Early Careers page and register your interest in our 2026 program, that way when we start the recruitment process, we can send you an email and invite you to apply.

    Wishing you all the best!
